Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (or BCST) is a very gentle and potent therapy that uses light touch to support and nourish the systems of body, mind and spirit. It can help you to process and release unresolved pain and difficult experiences to bring a greater sense of well-being and ease. Through deep listening, it works with your whole being from the root to give space and support for any compromised parts to come back into health and balance.
BCST was born out of osteopathy and has influences from trauma resolution work and neuroscience. More than 100 years ago, osteopaths highlighted that all living tissue expresses a subtle rhythmic motion which is called Primary Respiration. In healthy tissue, Primary Respiration is full and balanced. However, internal and external stresses such as emotional, physical, psychological and societal trauma, injury, environmental toxicity, surgery and disease, can compromise these subtle motions and lead to imbalances and health issues. BCST can support your system to let go of these physical and energetic knots, helping to restore health and vitality to your body, mind and spirit.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can support you to:
- Unravel physical injuries and disease to bring greater ease and enjoyment
- Release birth trauma at whatever age you are now
- Rest more deeply into your full body and feel more grounded in your whole being
- Balance the left and right hemispheres of your brain to bring more peace and a wider perspective
- Integrate the three main energy centres: head, heart and gut to experience more balance
- Liberate old emotional patterns that are no longer supportive
- Strengthen your connection to your internal and external resources
- Free your spirit to live from a place of creativity and confidence
- Align with your heart’s deepest desires for your life
- Increase your energy levels
- Expand your sense of well-being
- Remember more of who you are!
What to expect during a session:
During the first session I will take a health history and listen carefully to the reasons for your visit. Sessions take place fully clothed and usually lying on a treatment table on your back or side, in a warm and comfortable space. I will make light contact with your body at the head (cranium), base of the spine (sacrum) and other areas to encourage the body to rest and start to make the changes it needs. Many people feel a deep sense of relaxation and you may feel tingling, pulsation, heat, or other sensations. Each session is unique to your journey and follows its own path.
Prices:
6o minutes – £50
90 minutes – £75
I have a few concession rate spaces available for those wanting to do healing work who are on a low income. Please enquire if you would like to work with me but lack the financial resoures to pay the usual rate.
Craniosacral Therapy can also be performed remotely online. Please enquire if you would like to work in this way.

I graduated from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in 2020 with a professional diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and have done further training in the Biodynamics of Death and Dying, and Perception as Key to Re-pattering the Nervous System. Since 2020, I have done extensive training in Formative Embodiment (or FE) – a potent modality which works well with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and other modalities. FE works somatically by deeply listening to the verbal, visual and energetic cues of the topic the client would like to explore. Through bringing awareness to the gestures of the body, we can disassemble old forms we have outgrown, stabilise forms that are working well, and discover new, more fulfilling forms that are seeking to emerge from the depths of our being.
I am fully insured and hold an up-to-date Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. I am Registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and am a Full Member of the International Cranial Association (ICrA).
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is intended to work alongside primary healthcare and is not a substitute for psychotherapeutic or medical assistance.
